A cat was found buried with human remains in Cypress 9500 years ago, but cats are not native to Cypress. This tells us these cute creatures have been friends with humans going back further than that. Early cat and human relationships likely spawned from the cats natural instinct as predator to small rodents, sealing the bond between us and one of our most beloved species.
